1. What the service does
CheckWhois queries the public WHOIS record of a domain name and runs a set of automated technical checks on the corresponding website, then presents the result as an indicative trust score out of 100. The service is available at www.checkwhois.info.
2. No warranty on the results
The trust score is indicative only. It is computed automatically from public data and live technical tests, and it is not an investigation, a certification, an endorsement or an accusation. A low score does not establish that a website is fraudulent, and a high score does not establish that it is safe. WHOIS data is supplied by third-party registries and may be incomplete, outdated or redacted. You remain solely responsible for any decision you make after consulting the site.
3. Rights in the service
The service is the exclusive property of CheckWhois.info. You are granted a free, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to access and use it; all other rights are expressly reserved without our agreement. In line with standard internet practice, advertising may be displayed within the service.
4. Acceptable use
The service is provided for individual, occasional lookups. Automated scraping, bulk querying, resale of the results, or any use that places an unreasonable load on the site or on the third-party WHOIS servers it relies on, is not permitted. We may rate-limit or block access where necessary to keep the service available to everyone.
5. Availability
www.checkwhois.info is accessible 24/7, except during scheduled or unscheduled maintenance or in cases of force majeure. We cannot be held liable for any damage of any nature resulting from the service being unavailable, nor for the unavailability of the third-party WHOIS servers it queries.
6. Personal data
Browsing the service does not involve any processing of personal data other than for advertising and audience-measurement purposes, as described in our privacy and cookies page. Domain names you submit are used to perform the lookup and may be held briefly in a technical cache; they are not sold or published. You have a right of access, correction and deletion regarding data collected through your use of the service, which you can exercise by writing to contact@1avance.com.
